Glowy make-up look

I was always wondering how these famous youtube beauty gurus achieved such a glowy look. I tried mutiple things to recreate that look. This week I finally did it! I was so happy that I finally found how it worked. Because I had a hard time figuring this out I think a lot of other people out there will have this problem too. Here's how I did it and how it looked. (I'm very sorry that the pic is a little bit blurry but I can't find an other one)

Step 1: Apply glowy primer. I use the nivea men aftershave balm. This is a primer that keeps your skin glowy but gives a very good base. I know that there are a lot of good glowy primers on the market but I still prefer this one.

Step 2: Apply a dewy foundation or a matte foundation with a damped beauty blender. I used the maybelline dream satin liquid (1-natural ivory). I love this foundation because it so lightweight but covers all of my acne! when you apply a matte foundation it is important to use a damped beautyblender because it always gives that extra dewy finish to your base.

Step 3: I always apply concealer where needed and under my eyes. You can use any concealer you want because you don't want that special glow under your eyes. I used the NYX HD photogenic concealer (CW00).

Step 4: Don't apply to much powder! When you apply powder you're mattyfying your face and that's the opposite of what we want to achieve. I just baked my undereye area and brushed that off. And what was left on my brush I used to powder the rest of my face.

Step 5: With my damped beautyblender I went in and worked the powder into my skin. So that the powder doesn't lay on my face.

Step 6: Use a blinding highlight. I used the Max and More glow and highlight palette (summer high and soft sand). I applied highlighter on my cheekbones, cupids bow, nose, browbone and a little bit above my brow.

Step 7: After completing your look you have to set it. Be carefull to use a dewy setting spray and not a matte setting spray. I used the NYX dewy finish long lasting setting spray.
